Zum zweiten Mal hiess es nun Ostern auf dem Waliserhof und auch diesmal
konnten wir einige begeisterte Anhänger nicht davon abhalten, wild
schaufelschwingend Löcher zu buddeln.
Da demnächst Gände und indische Laufenten zur biologischen
(ökologischen?, naja, organisch-natürlich halt) Schneckenbekämpfung
einziehen sollen, musste natürlich erstmal ein zünftiges Feuchtibiotop
vor Nachbars Zaun entstehen. Der bot sich auch schon an, ein paar Goldis
reinzuimmigrieren, so rein präventiv wegen der Mückenlarven und so.
Gerne, gerne. Hoffen wir nur, dass die Lehmabdichtung hält.
For the second time now the Welsh Farm called its closest followers to
shovel-bearing worship the god of eco-permaculture farming (I think one
of those isnow appropriate: ).
A pond can be built with clay lining and true hard work. Even though it
was close to 30 degree Celsius in the sun and the beer was deliciously
chilled at cellar temperature, the worshippers could not be withheld
from their work and methodically shoveled lumps of earth from one place
to another.

Heiss war's so für Ostern irgendwie schon zu heiss, aber das Bier war ja kellerkühl und lecker. Abends gings dann nach dem Motto "Fleisch ist mein Gemüse" zur Grillsache. Nagut, Salat gabs auch. Kartoffelspalten selbstgemacht, völlig Öko.
Natürlich hab ich auch ein paar Bilder gemacht, um euch, die ihr
diesen Spass verpasst habt, mal zu zeigen, was man so zusammen alles
schaffen kann. Und Spass hatten wir trotz der harten Arbeit.
Befriedigenderen Muskelkater kann man sich wirklich nicht holen .
Alles
in Allem was das Wetter tüffig (würde Froschfreund sagen (außer man hat
diese Algerien gegen diverse Polen). Danke an alle, die mitgeholfen
haben diese Tage zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht haben!

The evenings were filled with partying hard around the campfire with sausages and more meaty things from the barbecue followed by self made schnapps and the best Peniger beer. The mornings were very hard indeed and led to counterbeerdrinking soon.
Hard work and play continued for 3 days and very soon, a pond evolved. The hard work of three days paid off (not including the shifting of 12 cubic metres of wood...).
I took some piccies to show the folks out there what we got done with a
couple of days hard work while still having fun! I can honestly say I
cannot come up with a more satisfying way to get sore muscles.
All
in all, the weather was gorgeous, nature showed it's best side (if you
did not have one of those allergies against planty flying things that
is) and thank you everyone for making these days a very joyful and
rememberable experience!
